I love drawing the human figure, we are complex and beautiful. You can find beauty in any pose and form. All of these drawings were done at the Art Student League of New York during my time there.

I always build up the figure from the bone structure first. I start with marking where the joints are in space and in relation to each other, then I follow the lines of the major muscle groups. I like alternating the strength of the lines to capture beautiful gestures.
